I've recently got Vista Home version and installed cubasis vst5. However, when I 'click' on the icon it starts to load up but then nothing happens and nothing appears on the screen.
Is this simply because the software will not work with Vista and, if so, is there any fix for this please?

Highly unlikely this will work. It would fall into this category:
| Quote: | Products not listed here...
For products not listed on this page, we have no information regarding the usability with Windows Vista. The installation/usage is at the customer's own risk and support can not be offered for this product on Vista. We recommend continuing to use Windows XP or the appropriate operating system listed in the system requirements for that product. |

My gut reaction is:
Forget it!
I Really struggled to get VST5 to work in XP, and eventually gave it up as a bad job, which was a good thing. Some have got it working, but I didn't have the patience as I needed a running system quickly. _________________ Tony's Choons

Thanks for the replies - at least I now know that it's not something that I'm doing wrong - or not doing.

| I've got Cubasis VST 5 working with Windows Vista and originally had the same problem as you. I've had other installed programs which refuse to start unless you right-click on the desktop icon and select 'Run as Administrator', so I thought I'd try that with the Cubasis. It did the trick! So, that's what you need to do and you should be up and running. |
