Having ASIO Time Overload light intermidently in Cubase 5 Transport, system freezes during event when it happens got any ideas?

Been very pleased with the integration of LE4 and Soundcraft mixing desk using tascam AD/DA US 1641....presently 11/11/10 I am upgrading to Cubase 5 with some new periphials such ass adding RAM and a faster HDD 6gb of Ram....10KRPM HDD

yes.it is checked by default inerval of 15 minutes....10 files

I unchecked it for giggles....no change.....ASIO overload periodically still is occuring

OK, well that gets rid of one of the potential problems.

Have you done a DPC check?

Have you disabled any onboard network?
