If I have the 'Suspend Autoscroll when Editing' button deactivated in the Part Editor, why is it that when I shift the area between the L & R locators along with the 'hand' symbol the orange light comes on and suspends the autoscroll function?
Can I set the autoscroll so it's on or off when I'm editing?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Split. This is obviously something I can't get my head around. Yes the F key switches back to autoscroll but I can't see any difference whether the ''Suspend Autoscroll when Editing' button is selected or not. Either way I get the came result. I'm talking about in play mode BTW
Feel sure I'm missing the point here.

"When this option is enabled, autoscrolling is suspended as soon as you
click anywhere in the event display during playback"

Quite honestly I find the behaviour most annoying and usually end up toggling with the F button to switch autoscroll on and off.

Thanks again. I find I'm doing the same.
Another feature then that does little more than muddy the waters.
