The reason for me buying Halion Sonic was in hope of using it as
I do with my Yamaha MM6 (or a Motif) to get inspiration writing
songs. Yes, the sounds are good and the phrases are really useful
and I can set up a multi set with one drum beat, a bass phrase, a
keyboard phrase and a lead sound. This is great! But, but, but...
doing changes scrolling through all the phrases take hours before
I find those I am happy with.

Dear Steinberg people, please make it easier to scroll and audition
different phrases. For performance please make it possible to start
and stop different phrases with key commands, midi keyboard or
midi cc and please make it possible to change between different
phrases 'on the fly' using same remote commands!
Otherwise It's a waste of resources having such powerful
features that are so awkward to use. Using keyboard arrows
up/down would be an easy way to scroll between the phrases
and presets.

With these changes I think Halion Sonic would be very unique and
a song composers dream.

With hope of improvements!
Hans

I agree this would be nice to add in a future update. It is very frustrating to switch between phrases in the first version.
